Course Description
Back in 1995, we had the Internet revolution connecting people around the World using 2D websites. Now, the same is happening but in 3D. Instead of 2D pages, we already have 3D experiences via VR headsets. And all these will eventually get us to the Metaverse which is the successor to the internet where we will be all connected in a Virtual Space with our own Avatars, virtual homes, and economy. To become a part of building the Metaverse, we must definitely know at least one Game Engine to create immersive virtual worlds.
Unreal Engine from Epic Games will be one of the few tools empowering the Metaverse! So, that's why it is the best time to learn Unreal Engine VR Development. And we created this course just for that. In this course, you will quickly get started with your Unreal Engine career. We spent tons of time creating the tutorials so that you can save time and learn this complex topic in a very short time.
By enrolling in this course, you will learn the VR Development Fundamental topics such as:
Setting up and Configuring Unreal Engine for VR Development
Blueprints Visual Scripting System Basics
Gameplay Framework in Unreal Engine
Blueprint Actors
Creating VR Pawn
Also, you will build the basic VR Interactions from scratch such as:
Grabbing
Adding and animating VR Hands
Moving with Thumbstick input
Teleportation
Snap Turning
UI Interactions
At the end of this course, you will have built your own VR Template project that you can use on your projects. Also, you will have built a simple game, Escape From Train from the Blueprints section. Overall, you will have a solid understanding and starting project (you built!) for VR Development in Unreal Engine 4.
Enroll now and let's build the Metaverse together!

Excellent Course. Things are kept simple and understandable with out a whole bunch of extra things thrown into the lectures. Provides a very nice basic understanding to build from. Aside from a couple sound/material files not being in my project compared to the instructors.... (Which are easy enough to substitute) My only real issue was getting Android Studio 4.0 installed and working in unreal. (There are helpful links/answers in the Question/help section) Overall I'd highly recommend this course to anyone getting started.

It's a great course for beginner to learn. Instructor is knowledgeable in VR development and this course covers really basics/fundamentals about unreal engine and VR development. However, there are 2 main problems for this course, too: 1) The HALF lessons are NOT relevant with VR development, simply explaning very basics of blueprint. It is understandable to cover basic part in case complete beginners enrolling in this course, but this part is too much. 2) The VR prototype is similar to VR template, very fundamental logic. If you read the blueprints in official VR template, you will find lots of familiar codes in this course. Comparing to instructor's another VR couse for unity, which includes a "Beat saber"-like prototype, this UE VR course needs more work.

Probably one of the best entry tutorials for VR development before jumping into the deep end of VR in Unreal. Shame there isn't an "Advanced VR development fundamentals" course with more VR mechanics because I would do that one too. One of the best aspects is someone using Unreal 4.26 / 4.27 when most tutorials online on the topic are 5/6 years old.. I'd love a physics interaction, locomotion or skeletal mesh interaction course done this well. Hope this keeps being updated for beginners coming after me!

I enjoyed this course and thought it was clear and well explained. I now have a much better understanding of VR in Unreal as well as blueprints. However I have to knock a star off as I did not realise that the train escape game would not use VR, and the VR side was all about creating basic VR pawn functionality. Whilst this has been really useful it felt a bit like the course was missing a final section on implementing some game functionality, ideally taking the train escape and turning it into a mini VR game. I have some confidence now that I will be able to do this, or similar, myself, but I did expect the course to go this step further. Saying this overall it was a good course and I would recommend it to people wanting to take their first steps into VR in unreal engine.

Having just finished the course, I have a functioning VR boilerplate and a better understanding of the Unreal blueprint process. However, I have to knock off a star due to some frustrations I had while taking the course. There are times when the instructor would be working on a blueprint and I'd be following along in my editor, and he'd suddenly click some options and not say out loud what he did. Then, my app wouldn't work, and I'd have to go back and re-watch 20 minutes of footage to figure out what I missed. The instructor's thick accent did make it harder at times, because I'd have to slow the footage down to 0.50x to see what he clicked on. Overall the course helped me learn about Unreal blueprints and VR patterns, but I didn't really grasp maybe 15% of the things we did or why some of it magically worked in-game. I appreciate the knowledge and the time, though. Thanks for helping get started.

Great teacher but the content of the lecture is very poor. Even as fundamentals goes is very poor. Section 1 and 2 are basically the same for vr and non vr games and there is not so much difference between the two. Sadly i must say that you could find all this content and more for free on youtube or even unreal website. i like that is up to date with current unreal version (4.27 at this writing). Teacher answer question quickly and nicely. A lot more content and this course could be come something great but as right now is not worth the money

I really enjoyed this course. As an experienced C++ games dev (but new to UE4) I found it very interesting to see the power of BP's and the course content was very informative, useful and inspiring for my home projects :) The course does end a bit abruptly, but I think there's more to come, so looking forward to that! Merhaba and GL Tevfik!

Really good course. Used it with a Quest 1 and development on a Mac using UE4.25. Had a couple of issues one of which was already solved in the comments and the other was using the VR teleportation asset from 4.27 which didn't seem to migrate into 4.25 as suggested. It didn't really matter though as I chose an alternative actor for the purpose and it worked fine. Using a Mac meant having to launch the examples on the Quest each time (no VR preview) which also meant that the references to the 'debug' rendering also would not work. So it was best just to move on. Really good intro to VR, UE and provides a good starting block for future developments.

A very detailed course on how to set up a basic VR template to use in your game. There is a lot of information presented in here. Note that the course is aimed at intermediate users - especially the blueprint stuff - but it's well and clearly presented so that complete beginners can follow along too. (You will just need to rewind the video multiple times). The narration is very clear and the presentation is crisp & fast. It's a complicated course but I very much recommend it to anyone who has an interest in setting these things up from scratch. Solid 9 out of 10.

I didnt finish the course, but i dont havr to do it so i can review it. THIS IS AN AMAZING COURSE. Just Buy it if you want to start understanding Vr development in an easy and fun way. I really love the course, and this is what i have been waiting for a long time. Cant understand why there arent more courses on Unreal VR. Hope the teacher make more courses on UE VR in the future, its a sure buy! ;)
