Why Learn C# Language
C# is the most versatile programming language in .NET Framework and .NET Core. Not only can you build Windows client applications, but you can also use C# to build Web and mobile apps.
C# can be used to build:
Windows client applications using Windows Forms, WPF and UWP.
Web applications with ASP.NET and ASP.NET Core.
Native iOS and Android mobile apps using MAUI.
Libraries, components, and console applications
Cloud and Azure apps
Block chain apps
Not only is C# language supported and maintained by Microsoft, but it also has a strong community support. More than 5 million developers use C# language. .NET Core and C# compiler are open source and the adoption is growing in open source community.
Content and Overview
This course is very beginner friendly and chock full of development tips. This huge course offers premium content, smartly broken up to highlight a set of related activities based on each module. We will also look at troubleshooting and debugging errors as we go along; implementing best practices; writing efficient logic and understanding why developers do things the way they do. Your knowledge will grow, step by step, throughout the course and you will be challenged to be the best you can be.
By the time you have finished the course you will have moved around in Visual Studio and examined logic and syntax errors so much, that it will be second nature for you when working in the .NET environment. This will put your new learned skills into practical use and impress your boss and coworkers.
The course is complete with working files hosted on GitHub, with the inclusion of some files to make it easier for you to replicate the code being demonstrated. You will be able to work alongside the author as you work through each lecture and will receive a verifiable certificate of completion upon finishing the course.

First, I have some experience with C# so the beginning chapters I was able to do quite quickly. Trevoir seems to have a lot of knowledge. I enjoyed the course overall and for sure learned a lot. I knew beforehand, that with the length of the course it will not be a deep dive in C#, .Net or SQL but I used it as an overview to get started and overall my expectations where met. The only downside I would mention is by the end of chapter 16 beginnig with lesson 147 - Here Trevoir starts to copy code around and it makes it hard to follow along when you do a codealong with him. Furthermore at this point, the course feels to get a bit rushed. Aftwards some chapters feel off (I assume regarding some updates over time), however you can follow along and should have learned enough by now to get by with Google or AI and pick up the content. As a conclusion I would say: + Good starter course to get an overview + Overall explaination are clear + You should be able to build a basic C# Win Forms app with SQL Server afterwards + Teaching style and speed is reasonable - Lacks in context in the end (perhaps through updates) Overall I enjoyed the course and will for sure revisit other courses of Trevoir in the future.

I'm already an experienced programmer (Delphi, huh), and I'm learning syntax. I'm familiar with all the concepts, but I decided to take a gradual approach to C# so that after this course I can learn on my own real project. Thanks to the author. Besides learning programming, I'm mainly learning English for working in English. The author has very good pronunciation.

This course is an excellent introduction to the C# programming language for beginners. The instructor is highly knowledgeable and provides thorough explanations of how things work and why certain approaches are used in the code examples. Trevoir is also very active in the course Q&A forums. He is always willing to help and provide feedback.

Having taught myself C# over a number of years, I deliberated taking this course, but I am so glad I did! This course has re-enforced my knowledge of the language, but there was so much more to be gained. As well as keeping the course interesting and using practical examples, Trevoir took time to explain the software environments too.

Some of the sections seem out of order. Section 49 contains elements that have not been discussed, like the login forms and other code that does not match our progress to date. The course feels like it's been updated a few times - which is good, but some continuity has been lost along the way. This course does provide many practical examples of the tasks you will want your applications to perform and thus you will get the basic building tools to creating useful applications.

I thought this was a great course for the beginner C# programmer. Trevoir takes his time to walk you through the constructs he is teaching. If you have experience with programming and object-oriented programming, you may find some of the content to be too basic, so this course is really meant for those who are not familiar with programming or object-oriented programming. I also like that he "makes mistakes" and then shows you how he addresses them—the real-world part of programming. From time to time, he can go really fast through a concept, especially toward the end, but that is what the pause button is for. I have tried several different beginner C# courses, and this was one of the better ones. I also like that he constructs an application to teach the concepts.

Very instructive. After completing only this course I already feel ready to tackle my client's project in real life. I bought another 2 courses, and I just don't need them, this course is packed with all you need to start being productive in Windows Forms development. Thanks for the course!

As a former SQL DB Administrator I found the use of linq difficult to get my head around and at times reverted to using SqlQuery just to get what I wanted. More explanation and grounding and practice in linq would have been good for me. Liked Trevoir's laconic style and voice and the pace of the tutorial pretty much suited my ability (for context, it's been 10 years since I was working in IT). Good value for money. I would consider using Trevoir again

I liked it very much. Trevoir puts a lot of time and effort .i.e. explaining the concepts over and over, assuming nothing and I did really appreciated that. Very organized and the structure of the lectures are very well structured. Also, he injects a a lot of content and useful tips throughout. I strongly recommend this course. Thanks Trevoir.
