If you REALLY want to learn godot and c#, just get this course and see it through to the end. The difference between this course and all the other courses is that it is constantly maintained and updated at a rate that is frankly unmatched on this platform. The instructor often redoes the whole thing to keep up with the latest version of godot and incorporates student feedback very well. Plus there is not other course that gives you so much bang for your buck in terms of the breadth of gamedev concepts covered. It really feels like a work of passion and a gift to aspiring developers.

Bought and peeked into some Godot + C# Courses. Ditches all, except this one after a an hour or so. I have a little experience in coding but not too much, a basic understanding of OOP concepts and basics in C#. This one is outstanding, really clear and precise explanations on the engine and its functionality and the necessary C#-concepts, really fun to watch and follow along. I really like the teaching style and pace, wished I bought this one first. Best course on this topic for a beginner in Godot with C# imho.

Amazing Godot Course! I’m really loving this course so far! The instructor explains everything super clearly and actually goes deep into the details — not just showing how to do something, but also why it works that way. He also shows different ways to implement things, which really helps you understand Godot on a deeper level. It’s one of the best Godot courses I’ve taken. I really hope he keeps making more — especially Godot courses in C#! His teaching style is awesome and makes learning fun and motivating. Totally recommend it!

He spoke too fast.Obviously,he didn't care beginners' needs so much

Wow this course is insanely good. I've learned so much already about C# AND Godot. I actually cannot believe it. The way he lays out the teaching portions of the videos and then does the challenge portions is perfect!! And I'm only mostly done the TAPPY game. Still a lot to go! This has been such a treat so far. I recommend it. For those reading: I would label myself as 1 out of 5 to Godot and 1.5 out of 5 for C#/Programming in General. Where 0 is no knowledge and 5 is "Pro". Thank you!

I have spent a lot of hours (and money) in trying to find a good Godot course which will not make me blindly follow whatever the teacher is doing on screen but instead make me do stuff on my own all the while providing good explanation WHY something is being done as it is and how it is working. And I found it! This must be one of the greatest courses I bought on Udemy, and definitely worth spending time and money on.

This course is excellent, really well put together, the pace is just right, the teaching is spot on and the challenges are helpful. Having done many Udemy courses I can confirm this is the best course I have come across. I am a very experienced developer but new to Godot and this course is an excellent intro. Tutor responses are almost instant. And having been given an OBE by HM The Queen for services to education, I know what I'm talking about when I rate educational courses. As you'd expect I reserve 'Excellent' for the vey best, and this is one of them.

Richard is a fantastic teacher and the course is tremendously valuable if you are new to Godot (but not to C#). Though the C# is very basic and the course includes a C# section. Support is also great. Richard answers quite fast on the Udemy questions! Its a 5 out of 5 with ease! Researching all of this own my own would take me weeks and here I have everything I need to get started, with clear instructions, helpful challenges and a very well paced learning speed.

Excellent course! I was new to both C# and Godot (other than doing the GDScript of this course part way). There is a nice introduction to C# to get you started, which was very helpful. The games are brilliant. Interesting and varied in their make-up. Lots of fun to make and also fun to play(test)! My kids eagerly followed my progress with the course and played the games when they were done. (Well, apart from maybe the last one as it's less kid-appropriate). They were always asking when the next game would be ready and also asking whether they could play and make new high scores. Our favourite has to be the space game, but you can't beat Tappy Plane for a quick and addictive competition for who can get the highest score. I never imagined that I would ever be able to make games, but with the skills I have learned in this course and the powerful Godot engine, game dev may actually be a reality for me. Godot without doing a course like this would have been too intimidating a tool, but Richard gently takes you from the very basics and during the course I continued to be amazed at the cool things you can do (with, as Richard would say, "surprisingly little code"), and when I look back now it is not that hard once you get some practice and have done it a couple of times. The only caveat I would make is that I have been programming for a number of years in a variety of languages and frameworks (just not C#), so I could truly focus my energies on learning the Godot engine without getting overwhelmed by data types, functions, classes/OOP. I might recommend the GDScript version of this course over this C# one if you are new to coding, just so you can do everything in Godot itself without having a separate IDE, and GDScript is a little more forgiving. That said, Richard does take things slow and C# is a great language to be familiar with, especially in game dev. All in all, I cannot recommend this course highly enough! Do yourself a favour and take it!
