Course Description
Python and one of its QT bindings, PyQT, has changed the face of GUI development. It allows us to build beautiful and powerful GUIs that grab the attention of Python programmers. QT5 has several advantages over other GUI frameworks such as tkinter and wxPython.
In this video, we will successfully install PyQt5 and the toolset that contains the QT Designer tool. The QT Designer enables us to develop our GUI in a visual manner, using drag and drop to add and position widgets, and we will use it extensively. We will then learn how to convert QT Designer-generated code into pure Python code.
After having successfully installed PyQt5, the QT Designer, and all other required QT tools, we will start out simple, building a Python GUI using only a few lines of PyQT5 code. Then, we will build a more complex GUI using QT Designer. Along the way, we will explore many QT widgets and learn how to efficiently lay out our GUI design. We will enhance the look-and-feel of the GUI using CSS styling. We will also connect our GUI to a SQL database, which we will create. We decouple the business logic code from the UI code, using best practices. At the end of this video tutorial, viewers will be able to develop complex GUIs using PyQt5.

It was good but not best. After initial 2-3 sessions ready made code has been used which fades out interest. In same GUI code features added instead simple fresh code for a feature might be useful. Missed the feature for data analysis & graphical presentation. The voal presentation sounds a bit boring.

Advanced teaching style and pace for intermediate and above programmers as advertised. He explains most concepts clearly unlike most of the other youtube videos (too many hoiurs to count) I've seen on Qt Designer with PyQt5. There are some good videos on Qt Designer with PyQt4 and PySide2 but too many differences with PyQt5 to follow for a beginner. He does tend to move quickly through sections 4 and 5 videos and doesn't explain some key function calls. He forces you to repeatedly watch the videos many times to catch mods to his code without explanation. And then wait for answers to questions regarding missing info. It was worth the 90% off Udemy price but not his retail price.

Ein sehr guter Kurs. Inhaltlich hervorragend aufbereitet, zuerst die grobe Übersicht, das normale PyQt5-Schema. Dann Einstieg in die Details und Vertiefung. Es hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht. Vielen Dank.

Overall it was a great course. Learned a lot. Referring to the sample codes provided by the instructor helps a lot to be able to review and keep up on what is being discussed. Section 5 is a bit short of my expectations and hoped more is covered or should have given deeper discussion.

This Course is really useful and provides basic level of understanding about PyQt and Qt Designer. I appreciate the trainer and he explained the various features of PyQt and Qt Designer. I felt that the whenever the the trainer explains the concepts through the python code, The code is already developed and he shows the areas we have to focus, I felt difficult to understand these things. I know that the showing the code development in the video would be time consuming but the code can be shared with the participants and this will help them to understand the course very clearly. Overall this is really nice course and it helps the people who want to develop GUIs in python

Started out great. However, it got annoying when the teacher seemed to get tired of making the videos and started just to superficially jump through the topics. It is still possible to read the code that he provided, but one of the points of these courses is to hear the explanation and thinking behind the choices the instructor makes while coding.

This course covered a good selection of key applications of PyQt5. It started off slowly, to help absolute beginners, but then sped up to avoid repetition. Some missteps occurred during the presentations, but these were also used as learning experiences, showing how to sort out problems. All together a good series for demystifying the GUI/Python subject and for building enough confidence to dive into developing more advanced applications.

Overall, love this course. No watch-me-typing, brief code explanation, includes various programming topics, indeed valuable information. This course will get beginners quickly acquainted with Qt/python programming. Now off we go, there's much more to learn. By.
