Course Description

Do you want to learn how to  use the Particle System in Blender to create awesome renders or animations? Do you want to feel confident while using particles? By the end of this course you will have an understanding of the functions in the particle system.  In the first couple sections we will be focusing on the settings and what each one does. All the videos are labeled so it's very easy to find a specific setting or value that you are wanting to learn.

One of the best ways to learn is to practice it yourself. That is why I have included 5 full tutorials in which we use the Particle System to create different renders and animations!  The first one being on grass.  We will be using hair particles to create the shape and from there we will learn how to create a realistic grass material.

The second tutorial is on fluid particles. After a basic overview we will jump straight into Blender and create a fluid particle animation together using the render engine Eevee.

Next up is low poly fire.  For this one we will be using a trick in the particle system to change the size as the particle rises.  We will also learn about materials and how to change the color overtime.

Hair is the next tutorial that we tackle in this course.  You will learn from scratch how to add hair, style it the way you want and create a nice material.

Finally the last section of this course is on the smoke simulation and how you can emit smoke from the particles themselves.

Learning Blender can be very hard when you first start that's why I built this course for all levels beginner to advanced. I will be showing you step by step on what to do and why we do it. From the basics of modeling to advanced techniques like creating grass with particle systems.

I can't believe you actually went into detail with the hair particle system. Making the grass was cool but actually learning how to model and groom a head of hair?! Awesome.. So glad i took your courses. Also i find it ideal that these courses are still relevant since Blender 2.8. I'm using Blender 4.0! idk if that's a good or bad thing on Blenders part lol. Maybe both. I feel like their simulation system could use more work but after taking your courses on Simulations as well, i can ACTUALLY make it work for what i need. So yea i would recommend lol.

Cette formation est indispensable pour enfin bien comprendre toutes les subitlités des particles. Elle permet de comprendre finement leur fonctionnement et fait exploser notre créativité. Les explications sont progressives, faciles à comprendre, très détaillées et dans un rythme parfait. Les progrès que l'on fait sont très rapides. Les exemples sont amusants à suivre. Ce formateur est vraiment l'un des meilleurs et je compte bien suivre tous ses cours !

i really enjoyed this course and i learned alot about particles. the course was constructed really well and easy to follow along. there were times where it felt like he was going a bit fast for me but i take a bit time for things so that could have been just me. great course overall!

Definitely is great course, thank you professor. But a have a problem in session 9, the sphere don t emit the smoke particles, even in the render, and I do exactly like you show in the lessons. I think this happens because the configuration of my pc, its a Intel Core I5, what ou think?

Definitely a great introduction to particle systems, with indepth explanations of what the different options do. This was a nice balance of doing real projects and learning features that might be useful for other projects.

Once again, Very very informative, and goes through each section and what the meaning of the subsection "mean" (if that makes sense). He also shows how they effect the simulation at highest and lowest, along with little tib-bits and gems of knowledge between the goal knowledge. Highly recommend to learn about particles and their many nuisances'.

In the end of the last lesson for the hair, on Lightning and Rendering, the instructor mentions a video where he would explain Hair dynamics, saying to look for the next video for that lesson. Except that the next lesson is about smoke particles, and has nothing on hair dynamics. Other than that, the course is ok, for total beginners.

Overall very good course, I learned a lot and established a great base in the particle systems for Blender. Would be nice to have an update to 2.8 since some of the features and materials do not work the same while I am learning it.

Enjoyable particle system overview in Blender. Good for learning more about the particle interaction in Blender. This content isn't touched on so much in other courses. Great to take what you did and play around with it in Blender.

The instructor moves at a good pace for beginners as well as intermediate viewers . Although I had some similarity with the particle system, I didn't understand all of the options or the full capability. The instructor shows the true power of what you can do with the particle system.
