The instructor speaks way to fast even when putt on lower speed (can't use the lowest speed because then it's too slow). Need to pause a lot to be able to keep up with what's happening if one is trying to follow along. Other than that, very nice course, recommend it.

Perfect course, makes SFML development simple. Very much hands on. The best approach to taking it is to watch several lectures in advance and then try to implement things by yourself. Make your own design decision, read help on the web, commit your own bug and fix it by yourself )

Clear and simple explanations going with a nice pace I can easily follow. Excellent idea and great execution, fun and engaging experience. After adjusting the flappy bird I'll make a small memory matching game with the knowledge from this course. Keep up the good work and thanks for the awesome instructions!

I am taking this course to build my familiarity and knowledge of coding with C++. So far, it has been providing me with a great example of what C++ is capable of in an interesting format (I always like having a project, builds the interest faster... always looking to see what the final product is and I get a nice sense of accomplishment when I can complete the project and see it working).

The content of the course is actually very good and I believe the instructor is very knowledgeable. However, there are two issues that occur continuously, especially towards the end of the program. First, in an attempt to try to save time and move along more quickly, the instructor copies and pasts code and then makes changes to the code. The problem with this is that it is more difficult for the student to understand what is going on and the instructor himself in his haste will sometimes miss something that should have been changed or he changes it incorrectly which leads to the second issue. Second, the code does not work at times in the video which in every case has been due to copy-paste. So a large amount of time is spent watching the instructor try to figure out where he went wrong instead of just re-filming that particular lesson.

I got several errors working though the setup (on a Mac), and I had to use the official SFML documentation to get up and running. It would have been nice for him to go through several possible error cases, e.g. what it looks like when XCode fails to find the libraries. Now that I've gone through a majority of the course, I really appreciate the straightforwardness of his approach. He's very fast, as people have mentioned, but I just pause the video until I can catch up. One thing I would like is more explanation of what the SFML library is actually doing for me. I'm not sure I can recall him ever saying, "Here's what else a sprite object can do." In addition, while it may be outside of the scope of the course, there's rarely an explanation of the high level design of the game - e.g. what responsibilities the Game class has vs the GameState.

Good structure and clear content. What makes it good instead of great is that it could do with more explanation on some functions and on how SFML works. More comments from the course teacher would help.(Both in code and verbally).

The programming is clear and I feel well explained - no change at the half way point Having completed the course I have to say it was insightful, full of details and very clear.

This is very good basic SFML C++ tutorial. It teaches you how to setup small game engine using SFML libraries (state machine, asset loader, basic AI class, ...). Instructor is good, with nice explanations and nice concept.
