Hi, I’m Brad. I’m a professional graphic designer and Illustrator.

I’ve published comics, run conferences but what I’m best known for is running a Youtube channel where I talk about technology for illustrators. In that time I’ve published reviews on everything from the Surface Pro to the iPad pro. And everything in between.

I believe drawing and illustration is a journey, we are all constantly learning and getting better and I blog about that on my channel as well. I think anyone can learn to draw all it takes is practice.

It’s never to late to pick up a pencil and start learning.

A simple and easy way to get started on learning to create t-shirt designs/logos. The instructor does a great job explaining on how to use illustrator the easiest and simplest way possible. You get what you pay for, and I can recommend this course for everyone, who wants to start learning on how to use illustrator and making t-shirt designs.

Vey good stuff. Excellent teaching style. Not boring or "canned" sounding. He shows that he cares and desires to impart his knowledge. The only problem I have had is the mask using the trasparent distressed process on the "baseball 22" logo. Have watched many times still doesnt click.

This is the best course for the beginner who wants to learn both t-shirt design and illustrator. highly valuable content with very clear and concise explanation. Definitely recommended to others. You will get great value for the price.

Loved the tutorials, my only thing was for me the steps on the pen tool were to fast. Especially with the tutorial on how to create masks. This does not take away from the very positive experience overall, would recommend to anyone.

I definitely learned some things. Is it worth $10? Hard to say, because I know illustrator pretty well. I went to college and learned illustrator there, and I knew most of what was covered. However the things I did learn like clipping masks, quick and dirty ways of making patterns, and the cherry on top a setting under preferences I wish I would have knew so badly back in college that would have saved me some serious time and lots of extra effort. Definitely some awesome things learned as far as illustrator goes in the course. I wish there would have been an example section going over how to upload your design to amazon. Theres information that goes into detail about how to get the mock-ups in illustrator, but never an actual example of uploading the file. Even if it was a really simple step it would have been nice. The instructor is pretty cool though and I would recommend his courses, ESPECIALLY if you are a beginner. If you are a beginner, it might be better to check out his other course first illustrator for zombies (I haven't taken that one personally) but from what i've seen it really covers the basics well. As for this course I'm really trying to get into tshirt designing so I wish it would have covered some more advanced steps since I already know illustrator pretty well. But some of the basics I didn't know and I'm really glad I know them now. I should also put, the instructor is really engaging, you won't get bored listening to him and it's good at demonstrations so you can work along side him doing your own thing and testing out the waters of illustrator as you go.

I thought that overall the course is good. For me, I would like to see this course expanded a little to include resizing an artboard image for print. I have a hard time using the very large artboards in my designs as I make them. However, being new at this I enjoyed learning some things I didn't know. I'll definitely re-watch some of the videos to get the techniques down.

It is probably a touch early to give a definitive answer to this question... It seems to be going good... will know more once we actually get into the T-shirt design side of it. The instructor is certainly engaging and clear in his explanations so that bodes well for an interesting course...

Illustrator can be frustrating but the instructor focuses on the smaller suite tools that you would likely use. Pen tool explanation was helpful. As were explaining move to font, move to back and the various ways to manipulate anchor points. It’s always good to see tips and tricks.

I really enjoyed this course. I liked the presentation, the positive attitude of the instructor, the pacing and order of the content, and the production quality. I now understand Adobe Illustrator well enough to be comfortable using it to create my shirts. I also bought Brad's companion course "Designing Shirts that Sell for Merch by Amazon" and I look forward to learning more about shirt design.
