Brian Jackson
Hello,
My name is Brian Jackson. I'm the author of about a dozen books, the publisher of well over 100 books, and a Udemy instructor with over 40 courses.
This is my story...
1 Origins
I was born in the middle of the last century in Los Angeles, California. I graduated from Humboldt State University, surrounded by the redwoods of Northern California. After 14 years at Lockheed Missiles and Space as an IBM system programmer and 12 years at Cisco Systems as a test engineer, I retired at 48.
I instantly became bored.
2 Community College
To break the boredom, I enrolled at Columbia Community College to take writing, art, acting and statistics classes. I took 24 units over one year and received straight “A”s.
I was still bored.
3 Writing and Self-publishing
I began writing fiction and nonfiction books and self-publishing them on Amazon, Barnes & Noble and Smashwords in July 2011. Though I wrote and published several books, my self-publishing business didn’t take off until my wife joined me.
4 My Wife and Author, Melanie Jackson
Melanie Jackson, my wife, was an author publishing over two romance novels per year through her New York publisher, Dorchester Press. After publishing 24 novels with Dorchester, the company folded, and Melanie was without a publisher (she wanted to write cozy mysteries anyway).

The course is good but could have been better as there is always room for improvement. I hope to see that more examples are included to let the student have better understanding. Overall the course is good!

Very informative course on using KDSpy to promote your books. I now have my first publication out there on Amazon for the world to partake and feel confident that any success my title has will be largely attributable to the Brian Jackson courses I have used to get this far. This course, his KDP publishing course (without which I would have been lost in the process), and one of his GIMP courses for the cover. In addition I am working on a supporting web site with his guidance through using WordPress and have a couple other courses he offers queued up for the task of promoting my book and getting it seen where it will have a chance to be seen.

Having purchased Kindle Spy a few years ago, it was fantastic to finally see a course on it. Mr. Jackson enabled the student to watch over his shoulder in step-by-step lessons, easily and clearly explaining how to use Kindle Spy to gain the best keywords that one possibly can. Great course. Highly recommend to anyone who owns Kindle Spy or who is seriously considering Kindle Spy to purchase. Thanks, Mr. Jackson, for yet another awesome course!!!

Thank you for the Free Course - It is Appreciated. I already had KDSpy but wanted to check out what you had to say in your course. . . and since it was Free I took the course. I currently have 30 Books out in Kindle, Create Space and about half that on ACX (more being produced currently). Your course gave good overall information about KDSpy but was a little difficult to follow sometimes because of your editing mistakes - Not that big of a deal I got most of it. It just seemed to jump around a little to much for me though - especially at the end, it seemed kind of abrupt. I think that there is a lot more to using KDSpy than just looking for all the Green Dots, lol. You have to factor in if the books are free or paid as well. Also for anyone producing books it's important to know the topic your publishing. With that being said you should already have a good understanding of a list of Keywords to start searching and analyzing. Anyway I hope this review and feedback helps. All the best in the future. God Bless, Anthony 2 Tim 1:7

Clearly presented. Well paced. The presenter clearly differentiates between the information that is freely available on Amazon's site itself and the additional intelligence that is provided using the KD Spy tool. Lessons are sufficiently detailed to be easily followed without providing too much information at a single time.

Kindlespy blows the cover off of blowhards. There are so many self-appointed Kindle Promotion Gurus these days it's difficult to know who knows their stuff and who is a paper dragon. With the knowledge you learn in this course you'll be able to find out who has the Kindle sales to support their claims of knowing how to increase Kindle sales. It's kind of sad to see some of the most vocal 'experts' have few, if any, sales.

This short course gives a good overview of Kindle Spy. The video and audio quality is excellent. You can clearly hear and see the demonstrations. However, the examples shown are very weak and have very little business value. Some of the keywords shown have books that mostly sell for free, so no real income possibility. It would be better to show examples of how to find keywords with better income potential.

This was an informative introduction to KindleSpy describing both how it works and how it can be utilized to your advantage. The instructor also provided illustrative examples and the context for which the service should be used. The quality of the videos and the style of the instructor kept my attention and made digesting the material effortless. I highly recommend this course!

I was disappointed with this. It was incomplete - there is the promise of a final lesson which does not materialise. Further, I've been using this software for four months and have discovered serious shortcomings in its performance; I took this course because I thought I wasn't getting the most out of the software. But it taught me nothing that I didn't already know from the online help provided in the software.

I have watched at least two 'webinars' on Kindle Spy but this presentation explained it better than they did. I now understand why the information it provides can be useful. I hope the affiliate link will start working again because if I do decide to buy it, I certainly want Brian to get the credit for making the sale.
