This video has not aged well - buyer beware. It’s primarily a basic Sketch tutorial with minimal depth. Over the course of 6+ hours, a junior designer demonstrates lackluster and uninspired app design in Sketch without covering essential design principles, core concepts, or the reasoning behind their decisions. Overall, this course lacks substance and doesn’t offer good value for the cost.

By Vinicius Yamauchi on 8/31/2017

The course does not explains about user experience. The instructor just do things in an empirical way based on his experience without explaining the theory behind the actions. I do not recommend!

Its a good course but it's really a-lot more about using sketch and invision to design and rapidly prototype apps. IMO there wasn't much information actually relating to how to take the idea and develop it into a full fledged app, which is really what i was most interested in.

Such a fun course! We just finished designing and prototyping our first app and the journey to this point was really engaging. I had to speed the videos up by 1.5x-2x so that it matches more my pace but otherwise, he's a very clear lecturer. I wish that for some of the keyboard shortcuts on Sketch, he would remind us what they are (or have a document) but that's a small thing and there are other ways around it. Very satisfied with my purchase.

Great Course to teach UI & UX but it was only from Napkin to presention to Programmer, not to Launch. Very many agest comments throughout the Course, presenter needs to be made aware of his agest comments. Normally one or two would be like water off a ducks back to me, but there were lots throughout the course. Old people can Design/Code, we invented the platforms you now use to work, we are interested in and continue to develop new and "Modern Skills", which are just "Old Skills/Technologies" given a new name. Presenter tends to ramble a lot, I love the DevSlopes layback presentation and leaving mistakes and their subsquent fix's in the presentation, that's how we learn, but this guy really lays back way too much, just tighten the presentation a little, the wrap-ups take way longer than needed, each video could be 30% shorter and still be layback and still deliver all the content. That being said, presenter knows his stuff on UI & UX and is worth watching, just skip the bits were he rambles too much.

I am learning a lot in this course, I known and use Sketch already but I discovered a lot of new things. It's also cool to have very good advices about the design of an app. I planned to use all I learnt here for my own project right after !

This course is a great way to change up learning heavy code and actually learn how to make your app a successful business. Learning from Evan is great because you can see how passionate he is about design and the user experience in a product. Thanks for a great course!

By Jason Brewer on 11/17/2016

I love this! Its one thing to design an app, but I had no idea that user experience was so key to the success of an app. This has completely changed my perspective on building apps for user retention. Evan really knows his stuff. If you want to build apps that retain users and generate money take this course

By Conor Howard on 11/13/2016

This is an excellent course to compliment your mobile development knowledge. Knowing how to build an app is one thing but knowing how to build one that looks great, feels great, retains users and attracts new ones is completely different. I'd recommend taking it with the Devslopes iOS or Android courses.

By CeraMo89 [BE] on 11/12/2016

Looking promising, didn't expect anything less from Devslopes, have been following courses from this company for quite a while now, excellent quality & outstanding at their ability to keep you hooked and interested. Cheers guys, recommended!
