Most of it is common sense. I know that it has to be addressed but as a manager, engaging your employees is basic management. Having schedules and meeting times and managing expectations is normal work ethic. We have had some remote workers where their kids were in the background. (babysitting) They were brought back to the office. It is generally easy to catch the people not working. It shows.

Reasonable insights into managing a remote team for people starting out that journey. Seems like it was recorded early in the pandemic or aimed at people forced into working remotely. Could be updated to be more insightful for organisations that choose to continue to work remotely.

It gave me good insight on not only ways to recognize my teams ability to work remote, but also reminders for my self on best practices for long term mental health for working remote.

I am new to being a manager so it has given me a lot to think about in terms of how I want to and should manage and lead my team. I work remotely and have been challenged to come into the office more regularly (not convenient given that I live 120miles away from the office). This is why I am even more keen about embracing remote working and making it a success.

In 2024 this training seems a bit outdated. Everybody should be familiar with remote work. I would have liked to hear more about how I can motivate my team and steer them better remotely.

Enjoy the information and gives different perspectives for different circumstances and people

Great ideas were shared and gave me some things to think about. I loved the examples given and the real work applications. I also really liked the quizzes at the end which tests your understanding. Overall a really good course and I would highly recommend this to other managers.

This course is short but full of good advice for those who are starting to lead remote teams. It includes good complementary reading materials.
