I actually finished this course! The small project approach worked out really well for me. I feel a lot more confident messing around with grease pencil now.

it seems like a focussed and to the point explanation. grease pencil has been avoided by most of the animators that are in fact using blender, so this course is short but i hope it has everything that i would need to work in grease pencil

Nicely based. Still early in the course (Udemy likes to prompt users to rate the courses before our short attention spans lead us off to something else, or the work becomes challenging). Learning a lot though. I'm excited to learn more about 2D animation with this instructor.

I was able to follow along and do the exercise. I am eighty-two years old with advanced hearing loss and with my new AI advanced hearing aids everything sounds tinny. Your audio is good; your instructions are easy to follow.

I already knew Blender 3D. So it was relatively easier for me to understand Blender software than maybe if I were beginner. This is really good course to understand Grease Pencil. Grant Abbit is one of the best blender teacher.

Very good pacing. Works very well, if you have already some blender-knowledge, but want to get started with grease-pencil. The chunks are small enough that there is sufficient time to take one in before trying for yourself. What i would like additionally is to learn more about best practices, like answers to the questions like: fill-layer above or below strokes, when to use color-attributes and when materials and so on. On the other hand for a beginner course it is perfectly fine as it is.

Good content, covers many of the tools. Great demonstrations of how a 3d artist works. It's nice that he introduces some mistakes on purpose in order to show how to fix them. Speaks a bit too fast, without pausing between phrases, so I had to constantly pause the video. I bought this course on discount.

Good, solid information given to you in quick and concise chunks. Not too long to get dull, not too short that it feels like we're skipping corners. Still only about half way, but I'm quite happy so far!

easy examples to draw and to understand. Perfect but a little too fast (for a french people) when manipulate dope sheet editor layers which layer which key image and edit mode and after draw mode and mode : color attribute. Big Thanks.

Very good course. It was easy to follow given that grease pencil can be quite complicated and it went at a good pace for beginners. It covers more than just drawing with grease pencil and I especially enjoyed the 2d rigging of the cat character
