The instructor does an amazing job of keeping the project minimal so that you can get what you need out of each lecture. The challenges are simple but engaging as they follow things you've just learned with minor enough twists. The pacing is set to an appropriate time and each lecture is split in a doable fashion where I can knock out a few and take adequate breaks to process the content.

Each lesson could be at least 5-7 times smaller, author in each lesson does 90% routine things that were already explained.. 99 times before? Is this course for beginners or for "special" people? Seems offensive and very very disappointing. All of three games are not just basic - they're absolutely nothing, like 7-8 hours each section and what's made? A few scenes, a few scripts, A LOT of repetition and feeling that's something is not right And something not right, for sure - author does everything very bad both from architectural and structural view. Bad practices? Pff, take my beer - here you can see the worst practices in the world WITHOUT explaining WHY and what alternatives there are.. "we do dis for learning purposes bla bla bla", you learn bad once easily - you'll relearn to get rid of bad stuff 10-20x times harder. Very bad. Very disappointed. I thought Bram will make it good because he made some games and has experience in it, but no, it's very bad. And the worst thing is it has very high rating and that's because it leave you with feeling of knowledge, not with the actual knowledge. Ultra bad.

Honest to God, one of the best courses I ever had access to in my whole life (and I tried a TON). This course gets you in such a good pace when you start keeping up that at some point, you develop such a solid foundation that you might find yourself like me, skipping to the challenges and trying to do them on your own, then watching the video explanation on how to proplerly do it or perfect it. Amazing course, wouldn't rate it lower than 4.5 stars at least.

First Course I have fully invested time and interest in, has truly helped me open my mind to programming, i haven't gotten far yet but for me this is my intro to programming, Very helpful and am excited to keep learning, which is a big shift in the way i have been carrying myself.

not bad. its in fact above expectations. i thought it would be like you tube tutorials, witch don't have the best reputation of helping you learn video games. i went to try it anyway, and it was pretty good. however i did expect. to learn GD script., first but this is probably the standard way to learn, so not really to much of a complain. so yeah, pretty amazing.

I love it! It is the first time where I do a course and I actually build the prototypes, maps and even assets myself. The course is also set with a lot of challenges, the teacher is obviously an expert in Godot and very good at sharing his expertise. First time that I binge a course because it is that good! love it! 20/10

Given the differences between versions of Godot that I was using compared to the course, there were times when I was like "HUH?" as some of the inspector options were moved around or recolored. But that in itself got me used to understanding the editor. I had a lot of fun with the shaders and animations, but wish we touched on Animation tree / state machine a bit more as the introduction to it just felt wanting-- in a good way! There were times where there was a lot of theory and explanations being discussed which could have been broken up into interactive segments, but overall, I learned a lot about the Godot engine and I was genuinely having fun as the course progresses. I've recommended this course to a few of my friends that were looking to get into game dev as they've always been interested but with Unreal and Unity being as big as they are, they were daunted. Already bought another Godot course and am looking forward to what Bram has in store for me next.

Fantastic tutorials and games for learning Godot 3D. I don't think I had many questions left unanswered by the end of all the lessons. And it covers multiple interests in making FPS shooters, tower defense, simple physics based games, etc. I'll be moving on to the next 3D tutorial to build on a lot more intermediate and advanced items in the adventure game course!

This course is fantastic, Bramwell is a great teacher, i really like the course pace and clear explanations. I have some experience with 2D games in Godot, but the tips you get from this course are useful for 2D or 3D games. I really see now why some people say that buying full courses is the only way to break the Tutorial Hell, you really get a learning structured path and a clear A-to-Z way to develop your games. I'm extremely happy with this course, highly recommended!
