The first four sections of the course were useful. Unfortunately, this was marred by the completely unnecessary final section, which attempted to teach the Verse programming language. This was targeted towards complete beginners. As an experienced developer in other programming languages, this was an ordeal for me.

Genuinely the best UEFN course out there, and a useful conversion course for UE/C++ users switching to Verse. Well worth spending your time working through, and presented enthusiastically throughout. Just watch out for old patterns (e.g. the APIs used in the Verse bonus section still exist but have been superseded), and while a few sections have you adding XP pickups it should be noted that you can't actually award BattlePass XP until your island has had >10,000 plays. Keep those in mind and you'll still pick up a load of insights, tips and common patterns from this course!

I just watched all the exclusive content of the course and in the end, I was left with a feeling of emptiness. This guy doesn't teach anything revealing, he teaches you the most super basic stuff that you can find on YouTube. To be honest, I don't recommend it at all.
